Joahn Hall, MD is a practicing physician in the Kansas City area. Joahn started her education at the University of Kansas where she obtained a BS degree in chemical engineering. She went on to pursue a degree in medicine at Meharry Medical College. She completed an internship in Family Medicine at Baylor in Texas and residency at KU Medical Center. She has served as Medical Director of Samuel Rodgers Health Center. She has also served as medical director of a number of hospice organizations including Crossroads and Compassus Hospice. She owns and operates the medical practice MD HomeCare LLC, where the team of 3 physicians and soon to be 2 additional nurse practitioners serve patients in the office as well as those patients who are home bound by making house calls. She is a designated Civil Surgeon, performing immigration physicals for those seeking citizenship. Dr. Hall has combined her love for horses and practice of medicine in a field of work called EAAT, Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies. This form of therapy is incorporated in her medical practice. Joahn is the wife of Howard Hall who had the vision to serve youth and the Christian community, using the Buffalo Six Ranch as an arena for fellowship.

 
 

Rochelle Dillard -Treasurer

Shelley is a former Insurance Claims professional for State Farm Insurance, responsible for extensive legal and contract interpretation handling first and third party injury claims, and design and implementation of internal and external problem solving strategies with a proven track record in mitigating disputes.  She currently serves as an Arbitrator for both the Better Business Bureau and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), a not-for-profit organization which protects investors by making sure the broker-dealer industry operates fairly and honestly. Shelley is passionate about community involvement. She serves as a volunteer mediator with the Center for Conflict Resolution (CCRKC), which provides mediation services to families and schools and for the Office of Community Complaints (OCC), facilitating dispute resolution between Police Officers and the public. Shelley obtained her B.S. in Finance from The Ohio State University and later established Future Fortunes Investment Club, serving as treasurer for over 10 years. She also owns SD Properties LLC, a real estate acquisition and management company.


Cheryl Toombs - Member

Cheryl Toombs serves as a board member of HAHF.  She is a native of Kansas City and has lived in Chicago and Los Angeles.  She has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia, which prepared her for 20 years of management experience in the financial services industry.  She worked for Fortune 500 companies including GE and American Express.  The positions Cheryl has held include Internal Auditor at GE Capital and Branch Sales Manager at Household Finance that enabled her tosee a given situationand formulate action plans to achieve the desired result.  She also has experience in the successful formulation and implementation of processes changes for domestic and global teams to meet goals.  Cheryl volunteered at the Elliot Donnelly Youth Center with the mentoring program in Chicago.  She was active in her church as a Greeter, in the Media Ministry (Photography), and the Prayer Group.

 


 

Pastor Mike Stephens - member

Pastor Mike Stephens is Founder of CottonCreek Christian Ministry (501c3) an outreach ministry serving those who have needs in the community and Founder of CottonCreek Cowboy Chapel serving the horse and cattleman industry. Preaching and teaching the Word of God Founder of the Cowboys for Christ Chapter in Ray County Officer for the Ministerial Alliance in Richmond Facilitator for the Missouri Reentry Process (prison ministry) in Ray Country Event facilitator for the group Unified Brothers and Sisters in Christ Mission as called by God: To bring unity and revival to the area in uniting churches together to unite the community. I have a heart for the family, men and children in doing this using the horse as a vehicle to minister. I have owned and worked with horses for about 30 years and have been self-employed for over 30 years. I have served on boards of many different organizations I have been in the pastoral roll for 8 years and got to know Howard through a men’s group we shared and came to know his heart well, we both share similar passions for men and children.
